Welcome letter

Dear colleges, The Steering Committee, along with our hosts at Ministry of Interior, National Forensic Centre of Serbia, invite you to Belgrade, Serbia for the 27th Annual Meeting of the ENFSI Expert Working Group on Drugs, (DWG). The DWG 2022 Annual conference will be held from 03th till 05th May 2022. The Chemometric Workshop will be held on 06th of May 2022 (full day). The number of participants for the workshop is limited (20 participants) and vacancies will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. This meeting is internationally recognised as the primary professional meeting for all aspects of forensic drugs analysis. It is a forum for high quality international interchange of information, including different oral and poster presentations. We will be honoured to host you in Belgrade.

About ENFSI DWG The European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) was founded in 1995 with the purpose of improving the mutual exchange of information in the field of forensic science and quality of forensic science delivery in Europe. ENFSI therefore has been recognized as the monopoly organization in the field of forensic science by the European Commission. The Drugs Working Group of ENFSI acts as a platform to enhance professional capability in the field of forensic drugs analysis. It enables and promotes the exchange of information on new developments and trends in seized drugs analysis. The Group acts to improve the knowledge base of its members and supports them in enhancing and maintaining their competencies. It also promotes attainment of accreditation by member laboratories. The Group strongly encourages research and development and supports projects that contribute to this.

Abstracts submissions

Abstracts submissions will be available up to 06^th of April 2022.

Abstract submission guidelines

All authors interested in making an oral or poster presentation on 27th ENFSI DRUGS WORKING GROUP ANNUAL MEETING are invited to submit an abstract.
All abstracts will undergo a review by the Program Subcommittee. Accepted abstracts will be invited for a presentation in one of the following formats:

1. Poster (2 minutes presentation and exhibition)
2. Short presentation (10 minutes)
3. Scientific presentation (20 minututes).

The participant has the possibility to participate in the session “Bring your own case” which will be on the first day and no PPT is needed. For this possibility, please apply on the spot.

The length of abstracts is limited to 400 words without spaces.
Please use Times New Roman font 12 pt.
Abstracts should be written in English language.
The abstract should consist of aim, methods, results and conclusions.

Covid-19

Anti-epidemic measures and instructions that are currently in force

Organizing Committee of the Conference (OCC) strictly follows the rules of the anti-epidemic authority of the Republic Serbia.

For all participants will be required to show a Green pass:

certificate of vaccination provided that at least 14 days have passed from the time they received the second dose, or certificate showing that they have recovered from COVID-19 or presentation of a positive PCR or rapid antigen test, confirming that the holder recovered from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, or
negative PCR test result (not older than 24 hours) or rapid antigen test – RAT on SARS-CoV-2 (not older than 24 hours).

Instructions for anti-epidemic measures proscribed by the National Authority of the Republic Serbia should be implemented in the full capacity.

It is important for those participants who are not citizens of the Republic Serbia to be informed of the rules of their own countries regarding health preventive measures for their return journey.
